Keep it Busy

Hey guys! Man a lot has been going on over here in Lubbock,Tx. I am keeping really busy with photography and PhotoClub! Today we are having a photo club sell with food, shirts, prints necklaces, and a lot more, you all should come by if you can make it. I am also preparing for some upcoming shows, a spot on the 1st friday art trail in November @ Sugar Browns and possibly something in 5th friday. Lost of work to be done, sorry this is turning into a word blog and not a photo gallery, but dont fear more posts to come! Thanks!

well i had a little family emergency, so i had to go away for a few days. just take time to thank god for Renee Warmke's time on earth. I am so blessed to have everyone that i have in my life. Thanks yall for keep checking my blog i really appreciate the support.

A STATE OF EMERGENCY!!!

I cannot believe all this rain! We are 6" and counting....crazy. Never seen this much rain in lubbock ever, well besides in the form of snow. Well my picture taking is put on hold for a few days. I have a really good project idea, modeled after Andy but I will have to wait for the flood to go down. How ironic, a flooded city, ready to host hurricane evacuees. hmmmm

Is it already September 10th???

OK wow! sorry to leave yall hanging for so long. Its been a rough week of school and no sleep. Hopefully a few of yall are still around waiting for some updates. Irby and I went out this week and took a few night shots that turned out interesting. I really am insterested in the painting with light and some other techniques. Just bits of radomness for your pleasure!

GONE GOLDWORTHY

For anyone who might not know who Andy is, here is a small small part of his work. I am really getting into this artist, and i am currently trying to contact him. Hes a hard man to find, but i really want to explore his type of work myself! hes incredible!

FFAT and Clay 101

So a great night spent on the First Friday art trail. First timer and I was really excited to see all the work at all the different places. Not to mention hopping on a trolley to ride all over town. Ended the night with some music catered by Sugar Browns, my favorite chi tea latte, and a little bit of clay 101 throwing up at the studio.

ok, so I am doing a lot a research about Andy Goldsworthy. He is such a incredible artist, my kind of man. It seems like we have a lot in common, so this weekend, making no promises, I am going to try to get into some nature and mimick his work. Really want to try and create some original work, with the essence of Andy. We will see how it goes, wish me luck!

Just wanna take a moment to commend Toni, this blog stuff is serious, seriously time consuming,lol. But I am sticking it out! here are two more days, again sorry for the delay! Enjoy!
