Yahoo! for the news

Maybe its the AUSTINtacious nail color i am wearing today, or just that news media and I have a serious beef, but it starting to feel like a ranty day.

Because Seriously? could i get one credible source of news out there?one well written piece of intelligent reporting??
I have not read them all, there is no time. But even CNN these days ( which used to be a favorite) is reporting on Lohan trials, and throwing around cheesy marketing media.
Is a worldly accurate and straightforward news operation too much to ask for?? I assume so, but you know what assuming is made up of.
This morning i posted about ridiculous new articles on Yahoo!, i dont know why i even read yahoo anymore its been ridiculous since the day i downloaded the news app for my iphone, but ridiculousness can be intriguing i guess.
What happened to good photojournalism? what happened to an accurate portrayal of a moment in history? in the past there have been some heart stopping, drama gushing photography; and now its flat, its monotone. People really are attracted naturally to images, so why has the standard on that element of reporting gone out the window? There are photographers of all kinds now days, but maybe our media needs to have a little higher standard?

This is pretty bad. Like I said earlier, photojournalism 101

Yahoo! definitely is a kindergarten version of the news, but you would think they could be able to atleast match the headlines with an appropriate visual.
what is this??? Radioactive leak into pacific, saved? AND I CAN GET SUSHI SERVED TO ME???WHAT?
VERY confusing i would think. prob dont wanna mix your food with radioactive materials.

I think i could do this all day. Yahoo! has yet to spare any effort to try to regulate even their writers. Their news has got me sitting at the edge of my seat, let me tell you. These ironically, were posted under a "story" titled "crafty photographers show nature's secrets"
Yahoo! must think the readers of their stories are at the 1st grade reading and writing level; and why shouldn't they be? they are.
"I try to find bugs" is not the catchiest headliner I've ever read, but maybe its some deep level thinking that I am unaware of.
But how about this.

if your having trouble reading that. "Yucatan Peninsula has rivers above ground"
good. good start yahoo.....ok, lets read on, tell me more....
oh wait....what? "the Yucatan Peninsula has no rivers above ground" you say??? the very first sentence of this caption you say? the ground is too soft to have rivers above ground? but wait. what?. you just said..... i mean the title is.....forget it.
