my sleeping schedule is so off....way off, as you can tell by this post taking place at 4:30 am. ridiculous. just listening to some of my favorites...Lua by Bright Eyes is perfect for this drippy weather that seems to have no end. Everyone here in Lubbock is pretty disturbed by the rain and humidity, but I am absolutely in love with it. Its melodramatic, romantic, and reminds me of home. Although i think my pup is getting agitated about not being able to spend extended amounts of time outside.
Actually had a pretty relaxing night. I worked today, but it was ok. After work i got to try a new Japanese restaurant in town, which happened to be way better than it appeared....always works out like that. After a full tummy there, we couldnt pass up all the rage or so i hear yogurt place next door. Spoonful, very hip, very busy. There was a line through the whole place, and when i ran into a friend she recommended her favorites. Reassuring me she knew what was good because she had been there everyday this whole week so far. haha. Yogurt was yogurt....toppings were what i liked.....peanut butter cups, strawberries, and sour gummy worms.... :) ¡delicioso! BUT my favorite part was the glass green tile with the dark inlayed wood....yeah i know, nerd. design nerd. the Kid Robot merch also gave a little tug at my heart!
At home tonight i watched The Time Traveler's Wife....honestly thought i would cry more....and then the ending came....and the waterworks flowed....that's what i get for growing up. I pretty amazing that all our lives we go around with the ideology about who were gonna marry and whose the utmost perfect form of a man. but when they are presented before us, we ignore it! we go along with our lives and sternly ignore what is in front of us. our "perfect". we get to a point where "they aren't our perfect because in no lifetime would perfect ever manifest itself!" well~open your eyes.
